To end the bathing season the Cascais City Hall, with the support of the Lisbon Oceanarium and the Blue Ocean Foundation, will hold an exhibition to promote projects that contribute to biodiversity and a healthy ocean, projects carried out by the Lisbon Oceanarium and the Lisbon Foundation. Blue Ocean since 1998.
The Oceanarium is not only in Lisbon, but also on Avencas Beach, Ria Formosa, Berlengas, Madeira, Azores, Canary Islands and Sao Tome and Principe, fulfilling its mission of contributing to the conservation of the ocean. Marine ecosystems are one of Portugal's largest assets and it is essential to ensure, through funding and support for scientific knowledge, their integrity for the present and for the future.
Ocean conservation is everyone's responsibility!
THE visit to the exhibition "The Oceanarium is not just in Lisbon" complements the educational activities, promoted by marine educators of the Lisbon Oceanarium. The activities are free and will take place on weekends 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 September ; October 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th , from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm.
